BSL® inserts are a type of rod with knurling or groove structure that can be embedded in plastic or other alloy products (mainly used in plastic products) to form an integrated connection product between the threaded part and the base material. Generally, the parts are embedded by die casting or injection molding of the molten base material to provide a threaded fastening connection or positioning reference hole for the base material.
Inserts are mainly used in battery pack assemblies for new energy vehicles.
