BSL® self-clinching nuts can be used for embedded self-clinching connections on automotive sheet metal, providing high-strength, high anti-rotation internal thread support for the fastening of other metal parts.

About self-clinching nuts

BSL® self-clinching nuts are divided into flanged self-clinching nuts and self-clinching self-clinching nuts.

1.1 Installation of flanged riveted nuts

1) Select riveting equipment and riveting tooling (punch and punch seat) with matching pressure, and set riveting parameters (pressure, speed) according to the equipment operating instructions;

2) Perform riveting test on the test sheet metal, as shown in step 1 below.

3) Observe whether the clamping state of the product is normal after installation.

For automatic feeding and automatic positioning riveting equipment, it is necessary to verify the direction of the product feeding system.

Before installation, confirm whether the size of the punch and punch seat matches the product, and whether the punch and punch seat are aligned. During installation, place the product in the punch seat positioning hole, insert the mounting hole of the mounting plate into the product riveting cylinder, set the equipment speed, pressure, and travel stop point, start the riveting equipment, and apply pressure to the punch in the vertical direction until the deformation band of the product expands and deforms and is fully engaged with the mounting plate.
